Mornington Peninsula based artist, Elishia Jackson, has been honing her skills in painting and drawing for the past several years. Inspired by various cultures and the people within them, she aims to tell their stories through her artwork.
Her most recent collection is a series of collages. Each collage has an original charcoal drawing portrait and features hand cut paper, often borrowed from the works of Japanese woodblock prints, Dutch floral paintings, vintage botanical illustrations, and antique Moroccan rugs.
Elishia has exhibited and sold her artworks across Australia and internationally since 2003. She currently works from her home studio on the Mornington Peninsula.
